The
African Chambers of Commerce & industry (ACCI) is a community –based, service-oriented agency
established as a 501 © 3 non-profit organization in September 2003.
For decades, people of African descent have flocked to the United States of America because internationally it is seen as a dynamic, vibrant, opportunity-filled ‘Mecca’. The management of ACCI saw the need to develop a grass
root organization that will address issues of cultural exchange, social welfare and development for the
desparate international African communities based in the
Tri-County of Los Angeles area. With over fifty (50) African
diaspora communities represented in the Los Angeles area, he saw it necessary to create a ‘one-stop’, organizational and information center for anyone interested in assisting in maintaining the ACCI motto: “Together We Stand”
and "Together We Grow".
